A message from our Club President Stephen McGrail
I am proud to be a Rotarian! I am most honoured and humbled to be elected President of the Rotary Club of Roundhay, Leeds 2024/2025, and with the help and support of fellow Club members, I will endeavour to do my best and uphold the high standards set by the previous Presidents.
Our club has been built on a strong leadership foundation and gives all of our members the opportunity to participate in a wide range of volunteering activities in the community. We are fortunate to have a membership that is fully committed to the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self. They continue to go the extra mile in building the club, and carry out the many worthwhile projects for the benefit of both our local community and the wider world.
Our club is widely known for its lively and enjoyable meetings and the events that we hold are proof positive that we are a fun-loving club. I shall endeavour to keep the fun and fellowship in our meetings, in all our club projects, and all of our fellowship events.
In summary, my primary focus for the year is to “Share the Magic of Rotary” through membership development and retention, to raise our public image with a good variety of projects and fundraisers for the local community and the wider world.
